Eyeliners are an elegant way to define and shape your eyes. When it comes to eye lining, there are a lot of products that can help you do it. 

There are different types of eyeliners available in the market today. You can choose between a normal pencil eyeliner, pencil eyeliner and gel eyeliner, and in some cases, some kohl pencils also work very well as an eyeliner.

Eyeliner Pencil

Using an eyeliner helps you define your eyes in the most prominent eyes. An eyeliner, when applied in thick lines with a bare lip, creates a very intense and artistic appearance. 

It can be used alone or with an eye shadow to improve the colour and shape of the eyes. In addition, eyeliners play an important role in creating the always-popular smoky look.

While the options are many, the key to remember is that you must be really firm when applying the eyeliner. And in case you are applying eyeliner for the first time, it is better to start with fine lines instead of creating really thick and prominent lines.

Here are some simple steps that will help you use the eyeliner with a pencil eyeliner:

• Clean and prepare your eyes. If you have oily caps, apply some loose powder as this will make the eyeliner stay longer in the caps.
• Start drawing a line from the centre of the lid along the line of the upper tabs to the outer corner. If you don't get a line correctly along the lash line, don't worry, since you can always fill in the space afterwards. Drawing a proper line is important.
• Again, from the centre of the lid, draw a line to the inner corner along the line of the tabs. Be sure to draw a thin line.

Once you have finished doing this, fill the space between the drawn line and the lash line by moving the eyeliner pencil with light strokes. 

It's fine if you get a thick line for the first time. After practising a couple of times, you will get used to it and you can create lines as you want.

From the outer corner along the line of the lower tabs, draw a line towards the inner corner. Start drawing from the point where the line ends at the outer corner of the upper lash line.

Once you have finished doing this, use your fingers or a stain brush. Blur the line on the line of the lower lashes a little.

Take a small amount of loose powder on an eyeliner brush and apply it below the stained line. This will prevent your eyeliner from getting soiled even more. You can also do the same for the upper lash line. Finish with some good layers of mascara.
