4 Easy Ways to Apply Flawless Foundation

4 Easy Ways to Apply Flawless Foundation

Find the best method for your skin type.

Still, are you struggling to get that silky-smooth texture with a liquid base? Without worries! Whether you have oily skin or dry skin, there is a base tool that will give you that airbrush finish without Face Tune.

Beauty Smarties guides you through four tools to consider, including your fingers, a beauty blender, a kabuki brush and a flat brush.

Each of them works with different skin types and offer certain levels of coverage. But before applying anything on your face, be sure to use an electric scrub brush to get a smooth surface, then prepare with a primer. And as an optional step, correct and hide any discolouration on the face.

1. Your fingers

If you want light media coverage, use your fingers. But before you start, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly to remove bacteria and dirt.

1. When using your hands, see a base amount the size of a dime on the back of your hand.

2. Then, apply the product evenly across your face.

3. The best technique for using the hand is a pat and swing movement, using at least two fingers. This is a good way to stop the base from staying on top.

2. Beauty blender

If you expect to achieve full medium coverage, the beauty blender is a good tool to use, especially if you have scars or acne.

1. Moisten the sponge and squeeze out excess water.

2. Using your fingers, tap the base all over your face.

3. Use the beauty blender to mix the points, so that you have uniform coverage.       (likes to start from the centre of her face and then work outward).

3. Kabuki brush

The Kabuki brush works best on normal to oily skin. This brush provides great coverage while polishing the base.

1. First, use your fingers to apply the liquid foundation to your entire face.

2. Then, use the kabuki brush with circular movements, up and out.

4. Flat brush

The flat base brush is best for dry skin! In addition, it facilitates work in light layers.

With this tool, use downward movements to obtain the smoothest possible application.
